this is excruciating and beautiful... children playing in racks of clothing, hidden by garments, spy upward and giggle for being discovered by someone taller than them... the exact same faces play hide & seek, loving the thrill... here in danger, their joy lost, dread like lead anchors them to the ground, eyes turn upward for everything taller than them threatens annihilation, even the sky... the impossibility of rescuing them, even just one... you have saved these three, a lesson for us all. xoxo
